    Hello,

I try to incorporate one day per week in which my workout consists if plyos and kettlebell ex with little rest between sets. It really gets my heart rate up and provides some variety. Is it considered cardio, HIIT, or ? I also am currently doing a 4 day upper/lower split and walks or runs with my dog. Just curious what you guys think..

    Thanks!

it would be considered a form of cardio. It could be interval training but there is no way you can get your heart rate up to TRUE HIIT levels.

Cardio should be an as needed addition, not do as much as you can. So take it slow.

Thanks for your response. I enjoy some cardio ( so does my doberman :) but am thinking to cut out the plyo/kettlebell circuit day for now since I am getting results with what I'm doing. I'm at the last bit of bodyfat to lose and would like to maintain, so I know it's tricky at this point and I don't want to wear myself out too bad...
