Thinking about getting some to make a few BW exercises more difficult...

they are $30+ though... I read somewhere that those furniture sliders work well too, anyone tried those?

    Yes

I don't have them personally, but a trainer friend of mine uses them.

I have these ones. I haven't tried the val slides. I got these at a fitness conference. They have ones for hard wood, and carpet.

LOL, I love it. Seriously, I used to take a gym class where we did that and on a hard wood floor with the right socks it works great (looks silly, but then who's watching?). You can also use paper plates, especially the glossy kind, on a hardwood floor. Also a folded up Mexican blanket glides like crazy on a hardwood floor, good for doing various pikes and drags in BW circuits. I've never actually used the Val Slides . . . I'm sure they are great and cute to boot . . .but if you're saving your pennies, there are all kinds of ways to avoid friction . . .

Ok so I bought a 4 pack of furniture sliders form walmart....8 bucks and change..

I've been trying out all kinds of bw exercises in kitchen...man, they work well! Very fun!

Can't wait to take em to the gym and incorporate them into a few bw circuits.
