    splitting up your workout

Can you split your lifting? For example, If I do 6-8 exercises each day I lift, can I do 3-4 exercises in the morning and the rest after work?

What is the consideration for splitting it up?

really just time. I live an hour or more from work, so by the time I get home it's late and I'm exhausted. My gym opens at 5am so I only have 30 min to work out then and then I can do some during my lunch hour. Thats better for me than trying to do it after work.

unfortunately no. I only have about 45 min to workout and I use the gym at my work, which really only has dumbbells, a bench and an EZ bar. I want to do whats best, so if you say I shouldn't split then I'll just have to suck it up and do it all late at night.
