I am wondering about the "Hip Thrusts" are they better done from a bench or from the floor?
I've done them from the floor, from a bench and from the leg extension machine. For me, I feel it more from the bench, then the extension machine and lastly from the ground. But I can push twice as much weight from the floor.
OK thanks, I do them from a bench and I definitely feel the burn but I saw a girl doing them from the floor and thought maybe that was a better option. I will try the other options and use whatever one burns more during the exercise but so far the bench is great!
Brett Contreras says that both have their place in a program. Glute Bridges (from the floor) allow you to use more weight on the bar, while Hip Thrusts (from the bench) allow for a greater range of motion.
