    Are these strictly American federations?

Are there ones that are more catered to the beginner? I know they all have novice divisions but I'm wondering if there is one that you'd suggest for an actual rookie/virgin competitor.

I think that local shows are good. Go see one in your area MB and see if that is what you are interested in...or if you like the look of the competitors.

There is an Ontario Physique Association, but I have the link at home and when I googled, the link didn't work, so I can add it tomorrow.

There is also an Ontario Natural show- not a federation per say, but they host competitions. Again, I'll get the link tomorrow!

I've been to two different shows. Not much difference in them other than the amount of participants. This stuff is confusing!!

From what I've seen, most drug tested shows look like beginner ones.

    :yeahthat:

And the ones that are National Qualifiers are going to have more/better competitors than the one's that aren't, generally speaking.

Wow! Thanks for posting this with the links!!!! That was so nice!! If you had never competed is/are any of these more friendly for newbies than others? We seem to have a lot of NPC up in New England but I get the sense that NPC is more for advanced competitors like you guys? Do I have this all wrong? Is there a starter-federation?

There's the IDFA as well for Canadian natural shows. I'll be competing at the Montreal event, June 28th.

    http://www.idfa.ca/

I think each province also has there own fed as well.
