I was reading Patricia's blog(imadshoney) and i noticed that she had complexes in her workout plan.

Are they sort of like a depletion workout?? Are they really hard?? Im just really confused about what they are...

You do x number of reps for one exercise then move into the next one without putting the bar down, repeat the number of reps, move to the next exercise... and on and on until you complete all the movements. Rest and start again.

    Make sense?

Yeah... that's the one I'm struggling on when I get to it. It's all good though... as long as you feel like you want to puke, then you know you're doing it right.

    Definitely doing them wrong.

Even with a light weight, I'd be gassed before getting through them

    Horrible experience.

not all of them are "hard" but the few that are should have your heart pumping and you breathin pretty hard but the end of the first set. going forward.

Do you increase the wt when it gets easier?

Does cardio condition have any affect?

So I guess since I do turbulence training, which is very familiar to 'afterburn' by alwyn (whose book I also own...yeah...I'm a fitness and healthy book junkie), I must be doing them.

:wth: I'm doing everything wrong. Am I doing them too slowly? I do one long set of whatever then I rest and do then next set of one less right? I'll pay you big big cash to come with me to the gym :please:

Yeah, Ana. I'm all winded and sweaty by the end of the first set. Really ugly looking. :p Takes me the full 90 second recovery period before I can stand up straight.
