Artificial sweetener

    Has anyone noticed if artificial sweetener affects their results. It seems diet soda stalls my results but I am not sure if it is actually the culprit. I really like a couple glasses of milo Splenda tea in the morning or a diet Mountain Dew pre-wo. Thoughts?

    I do find I hold water when using artificial sweeteners. So I will cut them a couple weeks before a show. But I don't feel they hinder my fat loss or strength gains. That's just me though. They seem to affect everyone differently.

    I don't drink diet soda very often, so when I do, I have consistently noticed that I feel bloated the next day. I stayed away from AS 2 or 3 weeks out from comp, just to be on the safe side.

    I don't think it hinders my fat loss either, but bloated- most definitely. Though honestly I don't drink enough diet for me to notice if it did hinder fat loss.
