I haven't done much more than that either but love some of the ideas I've seen on here. I have to do the rope crunches standing now because of my bum knee. Love your abs:)

I think what she meant to type was: Inchworm w/Glute Kicks...
In other words, you bend forward at the hips, place your fingertips (or hands, depending on hamstring flexibility) on the ground in front of your feet, keeping your legs as straight as possible walk your hands out until you are in plank. Keeping legs straight with knees and toes pointing toward the ground, lift & lower one leg, then the other. Immediately walk hands back to start (again keeping legs as straight as possible). The focus during the leg lifts should be tension (or a squeeze) in the glutes-the lift doesn't necessarily have to be 'big' provided you keep the glutes & core tight.

"Glue sticks" dont work the abs OR glutes, IMO...:lol3:

Nick T has some great info. Lucky for 'us' (LBC-ers) our Assigned ab/core circuit burpees don't require the star jump or push up...just the regular jump
(I do use these in my classes, though!). ;)

I had the class do the 3 point med ball and the reverse inchworm today! They thought it was cool but hardly any of them could do the inchworm! LOL! I totally felt that in my abs and quads!!

I will have to try the three point medicine ball as well. The inchworm kills me and I love it. I also love inversion boots--they make me feel like such a gym badass!

I'm assuming that ab circuits fit in on lower days in an upper/lower split, no?

Gotta start some of the variety listed here. I have been doing the russian twists with medicine ball and actually enjoy it.

    Some great ideas in here,

I don't like ab circuits per se, but as a challenge, something different, they're good :)

Here's my idea on abs circuit workout combined cardio:

    - Abs Ball Pike - Burpees
    - Barbell Abs Roll out - Crab walk
    - Reverse Crunch - Mountain climbers
    - Plank - Running high knees
    - Russian Twist (Weighted) - Bear Crawl
