    Hey everyone,
Just thought I'd start a thread where we can post 'ab circuit' ideas since I know a lot of Erik's clients have em and I'm sure (like me) would love to mix things up.

Here's one I'm doing today (I have limited equipment at my office).

    • Burpees
    • X body toe touches
    • Barbell sit ups (I actually have a bb here)
    • Full sit outs
    • Wobble disc crunches (and this thing too )
    • Straight leg bicycles
    • X body mountain climbers

Did this last night since I got tied up at work.

    Used 25lb medicine ball
    • burpees
    • x body toe touches
    • medicine ball crunches
    • full sit outs
    • '2' point slams (no middle slam, leaning slightly back)
    • straight leg hip thrusts holding ball straight up
    • xbody mountain climbers- hands on medicine ball

Ab/core circuits are my least favorite  but Wednesday I did:

    Burpees
    Bicycles
    Mountain Climbers
    Reverse Crunches
Leg Overs (I think that's what they're called)
    Full Sit-outs
    Full Crunch on Stability Ball

...Sorry, I thought I was Erik for a second.

I have nothing valuable to contribute to this thread since I hate ab circuits with a passion

    Wellll,
they aren't exactly my favorite BUT I figure the more we mix things up the more 'fun' they can be. :D

    Nicole, I like yours....only a ball required.

That might be more an issue of your exercise selection.

This is perfect timing because I am subbing a Butts and Guts class tomorrow and I needed a few new ideas to mix things up! Thx!

I wouldn't wish burpees on my worst enemy. :lol3:

No more ab/core circuits for me :brava: but I would also change some of the ones I did with:
    Cable Chops
    Russian Twists
    Contralateral Hand-Toe Touches
    Stability Ball Roll Outs
(along w/ burpees, mountain climbers, etc.)

When I pick the order of my exercises I try to alternate things like burpees, full sit-outs, mountain climbers, high to low and low to high chops using cables, 3-point med ball slams with things like reverse crunches, choppers, stability ball jackknives, etc.

If I were to put burpees, full sit-outs, and mountain climbers all together, I'd be dead. I like to change it up. Take a more metabolic one, with a less metabolic one.

I think Ileen is the only one that loves burpees. I tell myself that I love them in hopes I will believe it someday.

I love moment/ jumping around etc lol. I love HIIT and other hi intensity stuff too. HATE slow death (cardio) unless *I* chose to run outside if i feel like it.
