I sent my regular camera with hubby to afgan. anyone have any good ones.

I have a great 35mm pro camera I just need a good digital cam that I can take my progress pics and candid photos to send him of the girls and I since I'm sure that my other one will be ruined from sand when he gets back.

I was looking at the new kodak one that is a 10mp and has a HD video option but I'm not sure I want to think.

I have the Canon PowerShot SD 1000 Elph. It's awesome, teeny tiny and very user friendly. I found the previous year's model on Amazon for a good price, I think about $175 ish.

 I got a nice little Olympus about 3 years ago and I think it was about 200 bucks. IT's 8 megapixel with a 3X zoom. It's pretty idiot proof and I like it for that.

I had another Olympus in the past too, with 12X zoom...they have both been good cameras.

Yeah I need and idiot proof camera thats for sure.

I think I'll go check out best buy and ask the guy to help me out. I want it to be easy to download pics too.

That's a good idea. That's what I did too, I just gravitated towards Olympus because I'd had it before, and my mom loves that brand and has had a ton of different cameras.

Yeah I need to have something that will help me resize pics too. My dd has a camera but I can't resize her pics. she has a camrea doc that it prints the pics right out of the printer but when I try and upload them they are HUGE!

You can crop and edit them right very easily.

If you have Power Point, you should be able to resize in the program. I've done that before.

Do you have Microsoft Office? Plenty of pic editing stuff with the pic manager program that comes with it.

I am a fan of that camera. We have one that's a couple of years old, may 2 or 3 at this point, and it's still great, despite how many times I've dropped it.
If you use Snapfish you can edit (crop, resize, and color correct) on Snapfish.
